Should there be candles for gardens? Obviously as a small family candle brand we think candles are for all year round not just the colder months but are there very real benefits to having candles in your garden? Of course there are.

- Candles smell fabulous and Little Bit Different candles are even better than most as they are made using soy wax and vegan friendly oils.
- Smelling your favourite fragrances can lift your mood. This coupled with being outside in the air and getting some natural Vitamin D is good for you.
- Candles elevate any table layout. Who doesn’t want to create a tablescape that had their friends and family turning green with envy?
- It has long been thought that flying insects don’t like citronella. Now, this is not scientificly proven and we don’t use citronella because we don’t like the smell. However, the flickering flame coupled with the citrussy scent of our Cannwyll Yr Ardd (it smells like starburst sweets) always work as a deterrent when we have a BBQ.
- As the evening cools there really isn’t anything better than candle light and a fire pit. Maybe add some marshmallows for toasting and you have the evening of dreams.

Vicky began making candles in 2010 and sold them at local farmers markets. 15 years later Little Bit Different candles are now stocked in approaching 80 shops and tourist destinations across Wales. The white label side of the business www.littlebitwhitelabel.co.uk also supplies bepoke and white label candles to 30 other businesses across the United Kingdom.
